A piece of rock quartz carved into a likeness of the human skull is unearthed in western Utah. It is found to contain an encoded text that is projected from the crystal when a beam of light is passed through the vertical axis. The crystal skull is, in fact, an ingeniously-designed optical lens with an ancient history.
