International Ultraviolet Explorer
The International Ultraviolet Explorer satellite (IUE) was a joint project between NASA, ESA and PPARC (formerly SERC). IUE was the longest and most productive astronomical space Observatory, the first general user UV space Observatory and the first astronomical observatory in high earth orbit.
