Built in 1895 by Gus & Caroline Thayer with funding from the Soo line Rail Road, completely renovated in 2002, listed on the National Historic Register and furnished with authentic antiques, the setting is historic and beautiful. All 11 Luxury guestrooms have private baths and a full 4-course breakfast is included with every stay. At Thayer’s we take pride in offering an extra ordinary B&B experience with exceptional service, food, and unique entertainment like our Ghost Hunting Package, interactive Murder Mystery dinners and psychic readings. Psychic Readings are offered by appointment with owner, noted psychic, Sharon Gammell. We have two friendly kitties, Miss Sadie Cat, TN that enjoy attention and we have a number of enchanted guests; the Mn Paranormal Society agrees, Thayer’s is haunted.
