STARDUST Microchips

STARDUST was launched on February 7, 1999 carrying microchips.Two of the microchips are inside the Sample Return Capsule, and will return back to Earth with the capsule in the year 2006. Educators will be provided with an opportunity to observe NASA's state-of-the-art research and development through direct interaction with NASA scientists, engineers, technicians, and educational specialists at a NASA Field Center. Travel, housing, and meal expenses are provided by NASA. Graduate credit is available. The two-week workshops occur during mid-June through mid-August.
