In 1966, a small town in West Virginia reported seeing over 150 strange things happening like lights in the sky, people walking around town that didn't act like they were from this world, and the red eyes of a 7ft. tall creature that became known as the Mothman. As an artist I decided to go to the little town of Point Pleasant to do research for a painting project called "The Mothman Illusion" I was working on. It was a very interesting few days and perhaps I found out a little more than I planned.
