Here we go again...something important happens and Mr. Billy leaves the back door open.

Unless she just wanted to make a bizarre report for reasons unknown....way to go Billy, now that really makes it a definite alien encounter eh?

I see you are a man of conviction Billy, shows real character. Not going to let some camper make a fool out of you, right?

So, she filed the report with Billy Booth then?

I saw on the Discovery Channel the other night, a man who had had an encounter with an alien. Mufon investigated, and three experienced investigators did an exhausting array of tests, including a lie detector test.

That would be the minimum expectation of such an important sighting wouldn't it?

MOST people don't think ANYTHING, anymore, is worth investigating unless PHYSICAL EVIDENCE comes up. What then... are all MY experiences just here say and oblivious??? NOT to me... They have always been very REAL to me. And I will NOT allow anyone else to discredit them, just because they haven't had something similar. DAMN the physical proof.

I know what you're saying, and I agree with you.

But, for people who come out in public with these experiences, by choice and their own free will, should be subject to some verification of what they say, by experienced researchers. Otherwise, what's the point.

They are no more, or less, believeable, and they know what happened. But, why not go all the way with something this big.

I'm with you Tweaked.......what do these so called experts know anyway?

It seems people want a guarantee of what is and what isn't. If you want a guarantee buy a toaster oven.

Skeptics are hard to convince of anything and most expert investigators are skeptical of everything and anything that doesn't fit into their model of reality.

Stuff happens to some people and that is the long and the short of it, they have strange and unusual experiences.

David, I bought a toaster oven with a 3 yr warranty. My 3 yr old grandson tried to make a grilled cheese sandwich. To much cheese. The company said that was not covered under warranty.

Have to watch him. Once he wanted to go with his mom and she told him he had to finish his baloney sandwitch first. He did . I found it stuffed in my vcr tape deck. Complete with miracle whip.

The thing is the toaster oven was guaranteed, but the 3 year old wasn't.

So you don't need ET around the house doing strange stuff when you have an imaginative 3 year old available.

It isn't impossible, maybe next to impossible, to prove the story about the camping couple, because all that is at the disposal of the investigators are their tools, their interpretations of their tests, and the honesty of their subjects.

Just like anything else, it is not an exact, perfect science to extract 100% of the truth, 100% of the time.

An uphill battle, both ways.

It's an absurd situation Tim no matter which way you slice it.

But it occurs to me that it is not completely impossible, because first one has to believe themselves before they can accept words or ideas from others.

I believe this is at the core of the problem.......for example; do you believe your own experiences to be real?

If a person is unsure, they are unsure about everything.

It's not quite as straight forward as many believe, because objective solid unshakable proof is seldom available.

For many it appears easier to wait for the voice of authority to speak, but in this day and age that means giving up one's own self determination and trusting the voice of authority to remain honest and forthright.

In the case of Mr. Billy, he chooses to call the shots from behind his desk, as if simply recording someones report is somehow equal to investigating a given situation.

How can investigators be called investigators if they don't investigate?
