Well, my son was diagnosed with H1N1 last night at a hospital in S. Korea. He was sent home under quarantine, with Tamiflu, for five days. He had the terrible headaches, high fever. Today he feels better with just a bit of chest congestion he says.
Talking to him on the phone he sounds fine. I've warned him with the information I have, especially that the virus can seem to be gone symptom wise, then hit with a vengence. He's being careful. As it turns out, a fellow teacher and friend from Canada is in his same apartment building, and he also has the swine flu, so the two of them are keeping eachother company.
Apparently 20 schools have closed in S. Korea, and 5 of my son's fellow teachers are also home under quarantine.
I have to admit it is a bit scary, and he's so far away.

I have absolutely nothing clever to say......but I'm workin' on it.
