In one of the posts Tweaked did, on the Drone controversy, there was a link with video, that referenced 'Open Minds Forum'.

I looked them up, and found the most fascinating series of an audio interview with Sgt. Earl Fulford, who was actually on duty, and working during the crash retreival, and search for debris, at Roswell. He offers a first-hand account of his duties, as well as his impressions of the crash, with detail that I have never read or heard about before.

In the beginning of the first segment, you can hear the original radio newscast of the 'flying disk'.

There are three segments, but I could only find two, and the two take about 1 hr 45 min to get through, but well worth the time. The interview took place February 10th, 2008.

This gentleman is now 83, and was 21 years old at the time of the crash.

Oh dang it - I would really like to hear that - I've not heard of this person before (which isn't surprising) - Dawn

I've listened to both interviews - and it seems he may be coming down here for a visit - wouldn't that be something? Dawn

If he does head down your way, see if you can't get a couple of pictures for us. Hopefully you'll get to see him- living history, and a very engaging man to listen to.

Yes, he was very interesting to listen to - I do hope he isn't dissappointed with the way things have changed - and I don't know that he'll be able to get to the crash site - that's not open to the public anymore. There are some buildings at Walker that are still there for him to see, but not hangar 2.
