A friend of mine sent me this, and I don't know what to make of it. Hoping someone may have some information regarding GPS, that could explain what this could possibly mean.

He was driving from Chicago to Florida, here is the story.

After having a quick look around their forum I would not give it another second wondering if this guy was abducted.

It's a forum for people who don't really have a life and are trying to somehow appear normal.

But what about the GPS/ET/Abduction thing.

I've never read anything about a connection via a GPS.

Look Tim, I've heard some pretty weird stuff in my so many years on this planet, but racking the mileage up on his gps isn't in the ball park.

And I think he might be traveling a bit faster the 268 miles per hour at any rate.

No they did not abduct him and his car or truck and leave the engine running while they cruised Florida.

I've been checking out a few forums lately and compared to UFOseek which is by my standards relatively conservative and well grounded they are a bunch of wanna bees (fruit cakes) for the most part.

Did you read the entire thread? A malfunctioning gps can do this and will do this, which has nothing to do with ET or the implant in his arm........? :o

Yes, I did read it, but promised to ask about it.

IF... someone wanted him to know he was abducted, and give him something to ponder, it really could be a documented abduction... KNOWING that most people--even people like you and me--would probably NOT believe it.

This does not make sense, because there is nothing there having anything to do with ET or an abduction other than his own suggestion that such a thing occurred.

His gps put up some strange numbers.....and suddenly he jumps to ET.

If ET wanted him to know he was abducted they would let him know in a very direct and convincing manner which would not require confirmation from other unrelated parties on a web site forum.

There are many ways for ET to let you know you have had a contact and they don't usually play games...its quite straight forward and does not require second and third party confirmation.

On the other hand.........if he was convinced he had contact and wanted to use the gps as a backup to convince the rest of us.......okay, but this is not what he did.

He had a bad gps experience and asked if others thought this meant he had been abducted.

If he has an implant that should be pretty easy to verify and if it turns out not to exist then I would say we have a troubled individual as opposed to a gunuine contact or abduction.

We know that electronic devices are affected in cars when ET/UFO's are present, or nearby.

I don't think it's a stretch to think that any satellite would also be affected, and satellite technology in devices such as GPS are one of those things.

As to his claims of abduction, ET etc., he has a very long history of interest in this field and doesn't discount any possibilities.

If satellites were affected all gps would go sideways, not just one or two.

If someone or somebody wants to believe this guys gps story is due to ET contact by all means carry on, but I do not see how a gps error is connected to an ET contact.

Navstar satellites are used for the gps with atomic clocks on board the satellites and atomic clocks at the base stations. The ground based clocks and the orbiting clocks must be continually synchronized due to the time differential created by the two sets of clocks.

If they were not adjusted regularly the gps would be completely useless.

max traveling speed 108 mph or whatever... averege travelling speed 283 or whatever...

max speed lower than average... well i have never ever thought that that is possible :)
so i guess that is just hardware/software error of gps nothing more
