Popular social networking giant Facebook has started taking registrations for the its annual F8 developer conference. The Facebook F8 2018 will be held on May 1 and May 2 at the McEnergy Convention Center in San Jose. Developers can register for the conference via f8.com
The company said, “Facebook’s annual developer conference showcases new technologies and tools and the amazing work of the developers who are using them. In addition to more than 50 sessions, attendees can experience interactive demos, have the opportunity to meet Facebook product experts and have the chance to interact with our global developer community.”
The company also said that year the conference will cover variety of topics of interest to developers and businesses. Attendees will be able to learn about the new products and innovations across the Facebook family of apps.
People can also sign up and watch the live streaming for the session of their choice.
Last week, it was reported Facebook has acknowledged the bug in its two-factor authentication and will soon roll out a fix for it.
Alex Stamos, Facebook Chief Security Officer, said in a post, “It was not our intention to send non-security-related SMS notifications to these phone numbers, and I am sorry for any inconvenience these messages might have caused.”
Facebook has promised to roll out a fix soon that will stop non-security-related notifications.
"We are working to ensure that people who sign up for two-factor authentication won't receive non-security-related notifications from us unless they specifically choose to receive them. We expect to have the fixes in place in the coming days," the Facebook executive said.
