I AM VERY NEW TO THE NET, BUT REALLY ENJOY SITES LIKE THIS WITH READY ACCES TO INFO. I JUST CANNOT UNDERSTAND THICKHEADED PEOPLE WHO CAN LOOK UP AT THE STARS AND THINK WE ARE IT. THAT IN ALL THOSE LIGHT YEARS OF SPACE THERE ISNT SOMEONE ON SOME OTHER PLANET LOOKING OUT AT THE SKY AND ASKING THE SAME QUESTION WE ARE :WHERE IS EVERYBODY ?

Hello david1, and welcome!!!!!! [cool]

It's hard not to look at the stars and think there is more to what we know, alive and well and active, on other planets.

There is such a rich history of members here who have, and continue to have, experiences with ET and UFO's; they are very much a part of their lives. Lots of science, philosophical opinions, and ideas on why there is more than we realize.

Also, recommended books, links, video's in the media thread.

Looking forward to hearing your views on things.

Timbit

DON'T try to use the spell checker, either! Last time I did that, I lost a HUGE post!

Ya, that spell checked is a nasty little program. Much like that old bat of a grade six teacher who didn't like what you did and ripped it into shreds, and dramatically, and with force, slammed it into the waste basket. Take that!!!

I can still picture her now, hair in a tight bun, calf-length long plain dress with a heavy sweater, weird coloured stockings, and shiny black clunky shoes. Squinty little eyes, furrowed brow, and a big huge wart with a three inch hair sticking out of it. One of her eyes twitched, and if she was angry, it twitched so much that her whole head started shaking and she grabbed the side of her desk. At that point, she began to squeel, and sometimes we got lucky and the recess bell rang, other times, we just had to sit through it and snicker. But mostly, she was a mean old bird famous for breaking knuckles with her yard stick.

But I digress.........

The only way to ensure a post stays intact before you actually post it (for the unitiated) so you don't lose all that hard work, is to highlight the text, and copy it onto your clipboard. Then check spelling, and/or post, and if it disappears, just repost it by pasting the saved text from your clipboard. It just times out after a while, it happened to me many times too.

Tim
