At one time millions of years back as I remember, the earth and all of the other planets in our solar system were actually moons. (All of them)

Orbiting a giant planet with (You name it) on it, when it exploded, sending millions of pieces of debris and stuff shooting into space, along with it's moon.

We are now finding things on mars, and if we could go to all the other planets we would find the same stuff, and if we dug deeper here we would find stuff we haven't even invented yet.

The explosion of the massive giant planet, threw it's moons out into an orbit around the sun, which is now our solar system.

koval321, I agree with you; in fact, I think there may be life (perhaps not quite as we understand it yet, but nevertheless, LIFE...) on nearly every body in the Universe. But if we're told the Truth, oh my goodness! What will it do to the Christian Bible Stories??? I mean, wouldn't the Church have to figure out upon WHICH BODY (planet, asteroid, moon, etc.) the Garden of Eden existed? And then find a way to keep their Christian Flock believing in Christianity while they explain to us how we got here from there???

Mars has approximately half the radius of Earth. It is less dense than Earth, having about 15% of Earth's volume and 11% of the mass. Its surface area is only slightly less than the total area of Earth's dry land.While Mars is larger and more massive than Mercury, Mercury has a higher density. This results in the two planets having a nearly identical gravitational pull at the surface—that of Mars is stronger by less than 1%. Mars is also roughly intermediate in size, mass, and surface gravity between Earth and Earth's Moon (the Moon is about half the diameter of Mars, whereas Earth is twice; the Earth is about nine times more massive than Mars, and the Moon one-ninth as massive). The red-orange appearance of the Martian surface is caused by iron(III) oxide, more commonly known as hematite, or rust.

Yes, good old Mars...it would seem Mars got a bit too close to earth and dumped all its ocean on us, which caused the great flood, along with some sand, rocks, fish etc.

Whoever lived on Mars doesn't live there anymore, just some trees and plants near the poles.

But of course we're not supposed to know about this as it would upset the idea of the solar system remaining stable for billions of years.

And as far as colonizing Mars goes, you can kiss that idea goodbye because we spent all our money on bombs and rockets and have nothing left for the Mars project. Besides it was a bad idea to start with, in light of using rocket powered space craft. Silly silly idea.
