I propose that those of us who wish to make the Inauguration of Barack Obama a GOOD DAY for everyone who has journeyed to Washington, D.C. to be part of the Inauguration, make a pact...

Tomorrow night (MONDAY, the 19th) when you get into bed, please picture the Gulf Stream that brings in the WARM AIR from the South, moving up and directly over Washington, D.C. for the 20th of January.

We don't need to make it 80 degrees... all we have to do is bring the air temperature for the day UP to around 50 degrees for the morning and early afternoon.

We've already had one President who caught pneumonia, the day of his Inaugural Address... he died. We don't ever want that to happen again...

So, if you can picture the Gulf Stream engulfing Washington, D.C. for the day, in warmer, more hospitable temperatures for the outside activities, it will keep a lot of people from getting sick or being severely affected by cold temperatures, and it will make the daytime activities a lot better for all those people who have journeyed so far to take part in this historical swearing-in ceremony.

I wish I were well enough to be there... But since I can't, this is the best I can propose to make the day a GOOD one for all who have traveled so far and will have been waiting so long to watch this happen.

Thank you.
