The AAS RA is determined to prove, using scientific research methods, but in "lay-man's terms," as to whether or not extraterrestrials have visited Earth in the remote past. Ever since Erich von Däniken's bestseller "Chariots of the Gods" a popular idea started to revolve around the world: extraterrestrials visited Earth thousands and thousands of years ago. They left traces behind in form of mysterious, enigmatic monuments, curious artifacts, and especially stunning descriptions of flying machines in ancient scriptures.
